Grade reporting and progress tracking We offer detailed grade reporting and progress tracking to keep on task while completing your GACE Paraprofessional Math prep course! Thank you!!! I received a passing score of , which was 13 points higher than when I took it previously. The lessons that were most beneficial to me were the problems focusing on deciphering word problems, imaginary numbers, and functions.
These were the areas I had struggled with previously. Also, thank you for providing links to previous lessons in order to build further background knowledge. I have recommended your program to many fellow teachers.
Thank you! Ashlee Laubach 20 Jan 20 Extremely helpful. Really excited over here. Your lessons were explained well with your pauses after explaining important elements of a problem. I also liked your extension questions after a lesson. Finally, the test features were very helpful as they generated new questions each time you took them.
This was useful for me so I could drill myself until I understood it. Thanks to the teachers on the site! I have been out of high school for 11 years and I was studying to retake the test and improve my scores. The website helped out tremendously! Being able to select the course I want to focus on and have it all laid out was very helpful. As well as the videos breaking down how to solve the problems before starting the practice.
For me, the way everything is broken down and set up was great. Thank you, MathHelp! I was very happy with the MathHelp test prep course and found it to be the most helpful online exam prep I shopped around for. The most helpful part was that the course broke the math concepts down to the most basic step before solving the example problems, and that the course started with the rounding and place values. Peterson is also extremely good at explaining and making the lessons interesting so I could stay focused.
Thank you again. The site really helped me brush up on my math skills. The site is very user friendly and it was nice being able to test my knowledge to see if I could skip any lessons. All the teachers were really clear. I used a lot of equations and solving for x and multiplication and division of fractions. In general all the material was fine. And i did great on my placement test. There were at least 2 questions on the ALEKS test that were almost word-for-word out of the mixture word problems section.
Overall, very good. Best explanations in the whole web! Definitely recommend this to everyone. I graduated high school in and since then had taken no math courses. I was nervous about doing poorly on the placement test and having to pay additional money for remedial math courses.
I tested some of the video tutorials and was really excited to see that they were painfully simple for people like me who are not good at math.
I took the test and was pleased to see that all the topics from the test were covered by your website. I placed out of all developmental math, so I did not need to take any extra classes. The most helpful elements were the simplicity and clarity of the explanations. But your website made sure with each problem to explain all the steps thoroughly. I appreciated this aspect. Another part of your course I found helpful was that it focused on teaching one thing at a time.
It did exactly what I needed it to do. Sarah Vaughan 05 Sep 19 Your lectures were very thorough and easy to follow. I think you guys have got the best tool on the market.
I used it as an all-around refresher and was able to have the confidence I needed to excel with the test. The way it was broken up into lessons, videos, practice and quizzes gives the student the ability to pick and choose exactly what they need help with.
Brandi Lewis 24 Aug 19 I actually placed out of a couple math courses and saved myself 3 free credits! I liked the videos that you can watch to help with the math problems, they were short enough that they kept my attention but also explained the problem so that I understood it!
I personally loved everything about MathHelp. I have been out of college for 20 years and needed a major refresher course on math before attempting it again. I passed both the Birth-2nd math test as well as the math test the first time after going through the MathHelp site.
I love that the course has the three elements of video instruction, practice questions and test questions. Jeni Bransford 15 Aug 19 I signed my daughter up for your ALEKS test review with the hope that she would at least test in to the Pre-Calculus course that is required for her major.
She just took the test two days ago at her orientation and, as it turns out, she did well enough to be exempted from all math classes at UGA! The course was very helpful and enabled her to eliminate the required math class, giving her a lighter class load as she gets used to being a new college student.
William Pittard 26 Jul 19 I just received my Accuplacer test scores and I placed 3 classes higher than what I needed to have.
The only thing to consider is that the study material gives the basics of what you will see on the actual exam. You will be required to use your own logic, analysis and critical thinking to set up and understand when to use each formula or operation. They were clear and to the point, and their short length made it very digestible. The practice questions were also awesome in that they had additional videos breaking them down if I was confused.
So much of the course was clearer than the actual teaching in school. I, therefore, want to thank you!! This program was user friendly and a great resource. Most helpful were the linear equations, systems of linear equations, factorization, percents and geometry.
I thought they were excellent. I would recommend your program to anyone taking the NES test. I loved the short videos and then the practice questions directly after. And then the section tests. It was all suuuuper helpful! I was extremely impressed with the effectiveness of this course.
I am old or lets just say older. I decided to enroll in college to improve my computer skills. The school counselor recommended I take a basic math class because the TSI would be too difficult for me.
I decided to prove everyone wrong and look for help. Well not literally but almost. By the time I made it to the end I felt like a math wiz! Everything made sense. I walked in to the TSI and took the most easiest math test. I was overly prepared if that is possible. I started tutoring others on math. I absolutely recommend this site. Of course, I only can talk from the TSI area. Good Luck! Jo Martinez 13 Jun 19 We found this site while my son was studying for a placement test.
So he used your site to study. It had everything we needed from the whole curriculum. It was very helpful.
Hannah Mendelsohn 03 Jun 19 The math placement test went really well. I scored 39 out of I am really grateful to the MathHelp Team for putting up such a great course. I loved the lessons as they were short and precise. Overall, it was an amazing course for reviewing the topics which I had forgotten. PlayerUnknown 09 May 19 The site was very helpful in brushing up on forgotten math skills and learning some I had never known.
Having been out of school for over 20 years this is the one site I came across that was able to help me learn it.

GACE Flashcards. Each GACE exam usually consists of somewhere between 90 — multiple-choice questions, but some tests also include essays, short open-ended responses, and other similar types of questions. As a teacher, you are also a learner, and you definitely want to provide yourself with the best GACE study guide to make practicing for the exam efficient and effective. Unfortunately, the test prep industry has not taken the same care and attention to detail that you will in your future classrooms. Their interests lie in pumping out a high volume of material and writing misleading product descriptions that promise their practice tests will help you pass the test on the first try. To make matters worse, there are practice tests out there that publish incorrect questions and answers on the GACE tests. Finally, these expensive practice tests are often riddled with spelling mistakes, typos, and read as if the publishers skipped the editing stage.
