And your puny money! So feel free to waste both as you please and stuff! Because zzz. Crap damn bloody shrimping hell. This is it. This is the end. Here goes. I had high expectations for this one. In case you were wondering. You know me, I just cannot resist anything labelled as Romance. But I digress. I mean, come on, guys are, you know, GUYS. I never said any of this. I am innocent.
Yeah, that too. But anyway. Besides, one of the two Ms was supposed to be a spy, a rogue, and a thief, which in murderous crustacean speak loosely translates to mean: YUM. And YUM. Guess what? I lied. You know what the irony of it all is? This book killed me dead before the freaking romance stuff even begun!!!
The nerve, Lynn Flewelling, the nerve!!! This is outrageous!! What a total rip-off. Making one of your leads a teenager was a really low blow, Lynn Flewelling. That is just not done, Lynn Flewelling, that is just not done.
Oh, did you want to know what this book was about? And an unoriginal one at that. And one that feels like it was written 30 years ago at that. What can I say? Read this book. QED and stuff. And Stuff
Luck in the Shadows
Plot summary[ edit ] Alec of Kerry, a young hunter who has recently been orphaned, is taken prisoner under the false charge of spying. He ends up sharing a cell with Seregil, a seemingly youthful spy and noble from the exotic city of Rhiminee, who has the ability to assume various guises and trick his way out of tight situations. The two escape together, and Seregil, motivated by something he does not entirely understand, takes Alec on as his apprentice in thieving, spying and trickery. They head south towards Rhiminee, where Seregil will report on his mission to the wizard Nysander, the head of a covert group of spies known as "Watchers. Alec is forced to navigate their way south on his own, testing his limited resources and knowledge of the world outside his rustic homeland. In Rhiminee, the capital of Skala, Nysander heals Seregil and takes possession of the disk.
